Codevi Unsigned Leaflet, July 2004
HELLO TO THE WHOLE CODEVI FAMILY We want to share with you the following information, because of its importance and because you represent for us the most important resource. We received information that the SARA LEE Company, who came to install itself at CODEVI in all good intent, now has decided to leave with the production it used to have at the MD INDUSTRIES S.A. company. Unfortunately, this decision taken by SARA LEE is nothing else but an answer, as we know, to the events that have been happening since a few months. ALL THE LIES AND SLANDER AND PRODUCTION INTERRUPTIONS have provoked that the customers can no longer continue paying the price of the sales they are losing. This measure will affect over 300 employees, fathers and mothers of children, who have no reason to pay for the consequences of a small group of persons who never agreed with the project, who refuse progress for the people of OUANAMINTHE and for the amelioration of their living conditions. However, GRUPO M feels completely committed to the people of Ouanaminthe, to CODEVI and its PERSONNEL, and it won’t let them, nor other responsible and serious employees suffer nor disappear. For this reason, they are doing all the can to fill the space left by SARA LEE’S DEPARTURE. All MD INDUSTRIES S.A. employees will continue to work immediately after we find a new customer decided to give its production to CODEVI. GRUPO M BELIEVES IN ITS PERSONNEL AND IN THE WILL THEY HAVE TO ADVANCE FORWARD AND GROW TOGETHER IN THIS PROJECT. This measure will by no means affect AM INDUSTRIES S.A. employees thanks to the progress they have demonstrated, which has caused our customers to be very satisfied with this change. This is our homes that are before the eyes of all and it represents a sure and stable source of employment, permanent money coming in and development for the OUANAMINTHE community………………………………………... |
